·         Definition Of Causative Verb
Causative verb is a verb that is used to show that the subject is indirect responsible for the actions that occurred but someone or something else that is doing the action.

·         Types Of Causative Verb
*      Active Causative
Agent who worked on known.

*      Passive Causative
Agents who worked on unknown or usually agents not specified.

·         Funcition and Use Of Causative Verb
*      Let
This construction means to allow someone to do something.

Active : S + let + agent + action verb (bare invinitive)

*      Make
This construction means to force someone to do something.
Active : S + (make-made) + agent + action verb (bare infinitive)

*      Have
This construction means to give someone the responsibility to do something.
Active : S + (have-had) + agent + action verb (bare infinitive) + object
Passive : S + (have-had) + object + action verb (V-3)

*      Get
This construction usually means to convince to do something or to trick someone into doing something.
Active : S + (get-got) + agent + action verb (to infinitive)
Passive : S + (got) + object + action verb (V-3)
